Basketball Recap: Hancock Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hancock had no problem doing just that on Friday. They skirted past the Hattiesburg Tigers 57-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Hawks have posted since January 9th.

The win (which was Hancock's third in a row) raised their record to 12-19. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points over those games. As for Hattiesburg, they now have a losing record of 14-15.

Looking ahead, Hancock will head out on the road to take on Terry at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hattiesburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
