Soccer Recap: Clewiston Comes Up Short

Clewiston fell victim to Glades Central and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Glades Central Raiders, falling 3-0. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Clewiston's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-2. As for Glades Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clewiston will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lely at 7:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025. Glades Central will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Seminole Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
