Softball Recap: Clay Blue Devils vs. Fleming Island Golden Eagles

Fleming Island typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Clay proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Golden Eagles by a score of 5-1. The game was the first time the Blue Devils have beaten the Golden Eagles on their field since March 30, 2023.

Malia Collins was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Collins was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
