            On Friday Line Mountain's undefeated season almost came to an end. They skirted past the Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers  36-34. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered  a  43-40  loss the last time these two teams met.

 Line Mountain's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Kaiden Maurer, who threw for 216 yards and two  TDs on only 16 passes. What's more,  Maurer racked up 151  passer rating, the most he's  had since back in October of 2024. 119 of  Maurer's passing yards were hauled in by Dalton Schadel, who also brought in a  receiving touchdown.
Line Mountain's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Steelton-Highspire, their  defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-2.
 Coming up, Line Mountain will head out on the road to  challenge  Middletown  at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Steelton-Highspire, they will host James Buchanan  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Steamrollers are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
