Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln lost against Wilson back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers fell 3-1 to the Mules. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lincoln started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-22, 25-16, 25-21.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Wilson, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lincoln will face off against rival Eagle Rock at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wilson is set to take on their familiar foe Franklin at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
