Basketball Recap: University Charter Comes Up Short

University Charter lost against Hatch last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The University Charter Trail Blazers were outmatched by the Hatch Bobcats and fell 59-13. While losing is never fun, the Trail Blazers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 355th, while the Bobcats are ranked 149th).

University Charter dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Hatch, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Johnson the next time they take the court. Hatch will head out to face Johnson at 5:00 p.m. on December 27th, while University Charter will host them at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
