Courtland won the last time they faced James Monroe and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Yellow Jackets. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won four matches by ten runs or more so far this season.
Makayla Brooks made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
