Soccer Recap: King George Takes a Loss

King George was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 9-1 to the Riverbend Bears. King George were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

King George's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-1. As for Riverbend, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5-1 record this season.

King George will head out to challenge Culpeper County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Riverbend, they will square off against Mountain View at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain View will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Riverbend surely won't give up without a fight.
