Volleyball Recap: Atlantic Coast Comes Up Short

Atlantic Coast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Creekside Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Stingrays of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22, 21-25, 25-18.

Kaia Carpenedo paced Atlantic Coast's offense, picking up 11 kills. Carpenedo got some help from Lily Maguire and her 12 assists.

Atlantic Coast's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Creekside, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Atlantic Coast will take on Wolfson at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolfpack will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Stingrays surely won't give up without a fight. As for Creekside, they will square off against Fleming Island at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
