Marion entered their tilt with Young Women's Leadership Academy on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2019.

In the three sets Marion was on fire: they won each by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 23-25, 25-10, 25-13.

Marion's win bumped their record up to 23-8. As for Young Women's Leadership Academy, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-16.

Coincidentally, Marion and Young Women's Leadership Academy will both be playing Cole the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Cardinals will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
