Toutle Lake hasn't had much luck against Adna recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Ducks will welcome the Pirates at 3:00 p.m. Toutle Lake is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.

Toutle Lake made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Napavine, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Ducks fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 6-4 on Friday. The Ducks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jolene Vanhoof made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Casi, who went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Adna unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of Toledo by a score of 11-10.

Adna's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 9-4. As for Toutle Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Toutle Lake might still be hurting after the 15-0 defeat they got from Adna when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Ducks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
