Basketball Recap: Manasquan Finds Playoff Glory Versus Middle Township

Manasquan had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They strolled past the Middle Township Panthers with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 60-42. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Despite the loss, Middle Township still got an impressive performance from Reagen Powell, who posted 14 points and six boards. Abbey Cappelletti was another key player, putting up ten points.

The victory (which was Manasquan's fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points over those games. As for Middle Township, the loss snapped their winning streak at ten games and leaves them with a 27-6 record.

Coming up, Manasquan will square off against Madison on Sunday. Madison will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Manasquan surely won't give up without a fight. Middle Township does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
