Volleyball Game Preview: Alliance Bloomfield Bulls vs. Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros

The Alliance Bloomfield Bulls are taking a road trip to take on the Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Alliance Bloomfield took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over CALS Early College. The Bulls haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 25-17.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Rancho Alamitos and Bolsa Grande, and Rancho Alamitos kept the tradition alive. The Vaqueros came out on top against the Matadors by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

The victory didn't come easy: Bolsa Grande scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-22, 23-25, 25-22.

Alliance Bloomfield now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Rancho Alamitos, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.

Alliance Bloomfield suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Rancho Alamitos when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Bulls avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
