Baseball Recap: Denmark Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Denmark's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Jefferson Eagles on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Denmark saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braedon Heezen, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Denmark and nudges their season record down to 13-5. As for Jefferson, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

Looking ahead, Denmark will welcome Marinette at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Marines will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Jefferson, they will venture away from home to square off against Whitewater at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
