Basketball Game Preview: East Beauregard Trojans vs. DeQuincy Tigers

The East Beauregard Trojans will head out on the road to take on the DeQuincy Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Tuesday, East Beauregard was beaten by Rosepine 80-52. The Trojans have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, DeQuincy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Sulphur and fell 72-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tigers have suffered since December 13, 2024.

DeQuincy's loss dropped their record down to 8-10-1. As for East Beauregard, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.

East Beauregard came up short against DeQuincy when the teams last played on January 14th, falling 62-52. Can East Beauregard avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
