Volleyball Recap: Norwich Comes Up Short

The Norwich Eagles came up short against the St. John Tigers on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-19.

Reagan Smith paced Norwich's offense, picking up six kills. Smith got some help from Jate Samuelson and her eight assists. Smith was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Norwich's defeat dropped their record down to 20-18. As for St. John, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Norwich nor St. John have any future games scheduled.
