Baseball Recap: Twin Valley Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Twin Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They put the hurt on the Reading Red KNights with a sharp 12-0 victory on Wednesday. The Raiders not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 16, 2024.

Grant Moser was excellent, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Brody Majeski was another key player, scoring three runs while going 1-for-3.

Twin Valley hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Reading struck out nine times.

Twin Valley's win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1. As for Reading, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Twin Valley will head out on the road to square off against Lancaster Catholic at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Reading, they will host Elizabethtown at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Elizabethtown's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Reading's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
