Soccer Recap: Northeastern Comes Up Short

Northeastern lost against Holmes back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles came up short against the Aces, falling 5-2. Northeastern were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

This is the second loss in a row for Northeastern and nudges their season record down to 4-8-1. As for Holmes, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Northeastern will face off against Cape Hatteras at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northeastern are facing Cape Hatteras at the right time seeing as Cape Hatteras are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Holmes, they are taking a road trip to square off against Lawrence Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
