Medina Christian Academy had lost 12 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 1-7 to make it 13. They lost 15-7 to the Andrews Osborne Academy Phoenix. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Phoenix this season, with their most recent defeat being a 21-4 loss two weeks ago.

Esther Hussey was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Haun, who went 1-for-4 with three stolen bases and two runs.

As for Andrews Osborne Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. The result was nothing new for Andrews Osborne Academy, who have now won four matches by eight runs or more so far this season.
