Baseball Recap: Uintah Takes Down Mountain View in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Uintah had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They never let the Mountain View Bruins get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The Utes have beaten the Bruins the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bruins has come to flipping the script.

Uintah's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-13. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.4 runs. As for Mountain View, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season.

As of now, neither Uintah nor Mountain View have any future games scheduled.
