Football Recap: Marion Rams vs. Linden Patriots
Friday just wasn't the day for Marion's offense. They had to suffer through a 50-0 loss at the hands of the Linden Patriots. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Marion's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Linden, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.
Marion will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on University Charter at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th. As for Linden, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 38-0 victory against Holy Spirit Catholic on the 11th.
