Sugar-Salem won the last time they faced Blackfoot and things went their way on Saturday too. The Diggers put the hurt on the Broncos with a sharp 51-26 win. The Diggers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 22 points or more this season.
Leading Sugar-Salem to victory were Andee Petterson and Kalena Dayley. Petterson posted 13 points in addition to six assists and three steals, while Dayley shot 63% from the field en route to 12 points and six rebounds. Petterson is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 40% in the last nine games she's played dating back to last season. Brinley Bradshaw was another key player, putting up seven points and six boards.

Looking ahead, Sugar-Salem is taking a road trip to square off against Snake River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blackfoot, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Shelley at 7:30 p.m. on the 16th.
