Soccer Recap: Woodlawn-B.R. Comes Up Short

Woodlawn-B.R. was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Highland Baptist Christian Bears. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by just one goal.

Woodlawn-B.R.'s defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Highland Baptist Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Woodlawn-B.R. has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Sam Houston on the 14th. As for Highland Baptist Christian, they are taking a road trip to square off against Carencro at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
