Soccer Game Preview: Cocoa Beach vs. Spruce Creek + Official Tickets

The Cocoa Beach Minutemen are taking a road trip to challenge the Spruce Creek Hawks at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Cocoa Beach knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Spruce Creek likes a good challenge.

Cocoa Beach's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Indian River Charter with a sharp 8-0 win. It was an even better day for Jovan Jackson as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Spruce Creek was not quite New Smyrna Beach's equal in the second half on Friday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Barracudas.

Cocoa Beach's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Spruce Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
