Baseball Recap: Clyde Comes Up Short

Clyde lost against Eastwood back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fliers fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 4-2. That's two games in a row now that the Fliers have lost by exactly two runs.

Clyde saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jonathan Lantz, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Clyde's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Eastwood, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Clyde will be playing at home against Oak Harbor at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Eastwood, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Perkins at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
