Baseball Preview: Cape Elizabeth Capers vs. Wells Warriors        
        
		
            
 The Cape Elizabeth Capers will head out on the road to  square off against  the Wells Warriors at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Cape Elizabeth will be strutting in after a  win while Wells will be coming in after a  defeat.
 Wells is hoping to do  on Wednesday what Yarmouth couldn't  on Monday: put an end to Cape Elizabeth's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Cape Elizabeth walked away with  a   7-2  victory over Yarmouth.
  Jameson Bryant was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. Bryant was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news, Cape Elizabeth got a big performance out of  Brady Inman, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Andy Choi, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Wells fell victim to a  rough 10-3 loss at the hands of York  on Monday. Wells has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Cape Elizabeth's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Wells, they now  have a losing record at 1-2.
 Cape Elizabeth might still be hurting after the  7-1 defeat they got from Wells  when the teams last played  back in May of 2023. Can Cape Elizabeth avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
