Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Claude's Tenth in Last 12 Outings

Claude had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Shamrock Irish, sneaking past 32-29. The score was all tied up 9-9 at the break, but the Mustangs were the better team in the second half.

Shamrock lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Addison Jernigan, who posted two points in addition to six boards and five steals. Jernigan is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played.

Claude has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season. As for Shamrock, they dropped their record down to 16-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

As of now, neither Claude nor Shamrock have any future games scheduled.
