Soccer Game Preview: Pueblo South vs. Widefield

The Pueblo South Colts will welcome the Widefield Gladiators at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pueblo South's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Pueblo South's offense. They lost 9-0 to Riverdale Ridge last Saturday. While losing is never fun, Pueblo South can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while Riverdale Ridge are ranked 25th).

Meanwhile, Widefield unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of Pueblo East by a score of 4-3.

Pueblo South's loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Widefield, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
