Softball Recap: Apache Junction Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Apache Junction's offense. They came up short against the Payson Longhorns on Tuesday, falling 22-0. The defeat leaves the Prospectors still looking for their first win of the season.

Apache Junction's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Payson, their record is now 7-5.

Coming up, Apache Junction will venture away from home to face off against Globe at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Prospectors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Payson, they will welcome Show Low at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
