Softball Recap: Bentonville Tigers vs. Har-Ber Wildcats

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bentonville had no problem doing just that on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Har-Ber Wildcats a 1-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Bentonville sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

The result came thanks to Ryann Sanders's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in 16 consecutive pitching appearances.

On the hitting side, Bentonville's win was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Demi Donahoe, who went 3-for-4 with a stolen base.
