Sully Buttes is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest defeat since September 23rd on Tuesday. They came up short against Herreid/Selby, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Chargers in their meetings with the Wolverines: they've now lost eight in a row.

While Sully Buttes ultimately came up short, they really made Herreid/Selby work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-8, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Hitchcock-Tulare entered their tilt with Sanborn Central/Woonsocket on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Blackhawks with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Hitchcock-Tulare never let Sanborn Central/Woonsocket on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23, 25-20.

Hitchcock-Tulare's win bumped their record up to 25-4. As for Sully Buttes, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-17.
