Basketball Game Preview: Louisburg Wildcats vs. Wamego Red Raiders

The Louisburg Wildcats will face off against the Wamego Red Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 71-34, which was the final score in Louisburg's tilt against Ottawa on Tuesday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Cyclones recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Wamego hadn't done well against Eudora recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Wamego came out on top in a nail-biter against Eudora, sneaking past 33-31. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Raiders.

Wamego's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0. As for Louisburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
