Metamora won the last time they faced East Peoria and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Redbirds came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Metamora took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12.

Metamora's victory bumped their record up to 20-12. As for East Peoria, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-20.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Metamora will square off against rival Dunlap at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, East Peoria is set to face off against their familiar foe Pekin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
