After a string of six wins dating back to last season, Longmeadow's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 74-66 to the Central Golden Eagles. The Lancers were probably out for revenge after losing 73-54 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The victory made it two in a row for Central and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Longmeadow will take on Northampton in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Central, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Burke at 4:30 p.m. on December 27th.
