Landyn Smith posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He wasn't messing around, throwing for 276 yards and three TDs while completing 76.2% of his passes, and also rushing for 65 yards and one touchdown on only six carries. The match was his eighth straight with three or more passing touchdowns dating back to last season.

Smith and St. Clair County will square off against Montgomery Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Fighting Saints couldn't take home the W the last time they played the Knights, but Smith was still cooking: he threw for 205 yards and a pair of TDs on only 19 passes.
