Baseball Game Preview: North Harford Hawks vs. Harford Tech Cobras

For the second straight game, North Harford will face off against Harford Tech. The Hawks will take on the Cobras at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The last five games North Harford has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Friday just wasn't the day for North Harford's offense. They fell just short of Harford Tech by a score of 1-0 on Friday. It was the first time this season that the Hawks let down their fans at home.

For Harford Tech's part, not much got past CJ Scism, who gave up just a hit and racked up 11 Ks to keep North Harford off the board. Scism has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Harford Tech saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Lane, who went 1-for-4 with one RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Harford Tech and bumps their season record up to 7-8. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for North Harford, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4.
