Volleyball Recap: Esperanza Comes Up Short

Esperanza was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Arroyo Grande Eagles.

Esperanza's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Arroyo Grande, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Esperanza has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Oxnard on the 8th. As for Arroyo Grande, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Righetti on the 8th.
