Soccer Game Preview: Plano vs. Plano West

The Plano Wildcats will challenge the Plano West Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Plano West will be up against a hot Plano squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Wildcats never let Princeton get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Friday. Given Plano's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 159th, while Princeton are ranked 545th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Plano West, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Rock Hill on Friday as they made off with a 5-2 win. The victory continues a trend for Plano West in their matchups with Rock Hill: they've now won four in a row.

The win got Plano back to even at 9-9-2. As for Plano West, the victory got them back to even at 8-8-3.
