Basketball Recap: Cape Elizabeth Comes Up Short

Cape Elizabeth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They took a 41-24 bruising from the Poland Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Capers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-36 back in January.

Cape Elizabeth's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Poland, their win bumped their record up to 14-5.

Cape Elizabeth does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Poland, they will head out to square off against Mount Abram at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
