Millburn faced Bloomfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Millers came out on top against the Bengals by a score of 2-0. The victory was nothing new for the Millers as they're now sitting on three straight.

While Millburn won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-11.

Sydney Grani paced Millburn's offense, picking up nine kills. Grani got some help from Franna Hawksworth and her 24 assists. Finally, Meera Pandit kept Millburn's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Millburn's win bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Bloomfield, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 11-2-1.

Looking ahead, Millburn will take on Livingston in a tournament on Monday. As for Bloomfield, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Bridgewater-Raritan at 5:30 p.m.
