West Central Area won against Ada-Borup/Norman County West on Saturday with 60 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The West Central Area Knights managed a 60-56 win over the Ada-Borup Cougars. The victory was familiar territory for the Knights who have now won five games in a row.

Ada-Borup lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Brody Menge, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 13 points and eight boards. The dominant performance gave Menge a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Larson, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.

West Central Area has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game. As for Ada-Borup, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.

West Central Area will welcome Montevideo at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Montevideo knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matches -- so hopefully West Central Area likes a good challenge. As for Ada-Borup, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-42 win against Lake Park-Audubon on the 14th.
