Volleyball Recap: Wednesday's Win Is Cross' Fourth in Last Five Outings

The Cross Stingrays were able to grind out a solid win over the Charleston Collegiate Sundevils on Wednesday, taking the game 3-1.

Cross had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-17, 25-22, 25-17.

Cross is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Charleston Collegiate, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Cross and Coastal HomeSchool will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Charleston Collegiate, they will host Porter-Gaud at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
