Baseball Recap: Lafayette Comes Up Short

Lafayette was the 1-0 winner over Lindbergh when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Lancers fell just short of the Flyers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Lafayette has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-7 record this season. As for Lindbergh, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

While Lafayette had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
