Baseball Recap: Nandua Comes Up Short

Nandua was the 2-1 winner over Arcadia when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell just short of the Firebirds by a score of 5-3 on Tuesday.

Nandua dropped their record down to 7-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Arcadia, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Nandua will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Northampton at 4:00 p.m. The Warriors are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Arcadia, they are taking a road trip to take on Chincoteague at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
