Soccer Game Preview: Homestead vs. Leo

The Homestead Spartans will head out on the road to square off against the Leo Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Homestead's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Saturday, neither Homestead nor Fort Wayne Bishop Luers could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Leo entered their tilt with Columbia City on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 7-1 win. Leo might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by three goals or more this season.

With that draw, Homestead's record moves to 8-3-3. As for Leo, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3-2.
