Basketball Recap: Albuquerque HomeSchool Comes Up Short

Albuquerque HomeSchool saw some tournament action on Thursday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 27-26 to the Lubbock T Titans. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Saints came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 75th in New Mexico, while the Titans are ranked 1228th in Texas).

This is the second loss in a row for Albuquerque HomeSchool and nudges their season record down to 6-5. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.0 points over those games. As for Lubbock T, their win bumped their record up to 4-11.

As of now, neither Albuquerque HomeSchool nor Lubbock T have any future games scheduled.
