Volleyball Recap: Parker/Marion Takes a Loss

After flying high against Flandreau on Tuesday, Parker/Marion came back down to earth. The Pheasants came up short against the West Central Trojans on Friday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-11, 25-15.

Lanae Waldner paced Parker/Marion's offense, picking up four kills. Waldner got some help from Mara Mohr and her seven assists. Mohr was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Parker/Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 15-15. As for West Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-8.

Parker/Marion didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Vermillion on the 27th. As for West Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Tri-Valley on the 27th.
