Basketball Game Preview: Lakes Eagles vs. Grayslake North Knights

The Lakes Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Grayslake North Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lakes will be strutting in after a victory while Grayslake North will be coming in after a loss.

Lakes took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They walked away with a 56-46 win over Wauconda. The victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Grayslake North came up short against Prairie Ridge on Monday and fell 53-40. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lakes' win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Grayslake North, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Lakes skirted past Grayslake North 40-38 when the teams last played back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lakes since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
