Basketball Recap: Bear Creek Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Bear Creek won the last time they faced Chavez and things went their way on Friday too. The Bear Creek Bruins walked away with a 49-40 win over the Chavez Titans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bruins.

Bear Creek got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nemo Lucas out in front who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Duncan, who had 14 points.

Bear Creek's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points per game. As for Chavez, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-15.
