Preview: Midway Falcons vs. Archer City Wildcats
Having just played yesterday, the Midway Falcons will jump right back in to play the Archer City Wildcats at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Midway comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Midway's 26-8 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They had to suffer through a rough 76-36 loss at the hands of Jacksboro.
Archer City can finally bid farewell to their ten-game losing streak thanks to their game last Thursday. They blew past Christ Academy 60-28 at home. That looming 60-28 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Archer City yet this season.
Midway's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Archer City, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11.
Midway was dealt a bruising 54-26 defeat at the hands of Archer City in their previous meeting back in November. Can Midway avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
